My husband and I recently dined at the French Quarter restaurant at the Mardi Gras casino an I have to tell you that you really should come and enjoy what they have to offer. The place is gorgeous and they have it beautifully decorated for Christmas. In the French Quarter, the staff was friendly and helpful. I noticed how they all seemed to work together to keep the place running smoothly. There a very friendly manager with an accent that was very nice and he stopped by a couple of times to make sure everything was ok. There were some great menu choices like Spanish Paella, Twin Lobster Tails, and a Spinach and Cranberry salad that sounded absolutely delicious! They also had things like BBQ Ribs, Chicken Parmigiana, burgers and sandwiches, and a long list of side dishes. I noticed they have a very impressive selection of wines and they seemed very reasonably priced, too. My husband and I had the crab cake appetizer and I don’t think I’ve ever tasted a crab cake so good! The sauce served with them really made the dish. For dinner I had the Mahi Mahi that was topped with a mango salas and it was so delicious! My husband had a Filet Mignon and it was cooked to perfection. Our waiter refilled our drinks before we could even ask, and was very attentive the entire time we were there. I thought the portion sizes were great for the money so I’m definitely coming back to try some more of their food. They have other restaurants and bars, even a sports bar, but this was the first time we had ever eaten in the French Quarter. I highly recommend it, treat yourself if you have never been.
