When our two month old Emerson 32""LCD went dead, we went through a 3 day runaround ending with an authorization number and a phone number to Dean's TV in San Marcos. When Emerson asked if they were close, I told them no but that was all they offered. When I called Dean's he got the authorization number and told me to ""bring it in but call first to make sure someone is there"". When I told him I was in McDade he repeated the ""call first"" instructions. Called Emerson again, they gave us HD TV in Austin, who said ""bring it in between 9 and 6"". Being 40 miles closer and not needing an appointment, seems like it would have been the first option. Dean's may be great but I'm not going to go to someplace to leave my equipment where they are out making calls.
