When we moved to Bakersfield it was nice to find two Indian places. Desi's is a favorite but is probaby 25 miles from our home but we still make the trek quite often to enjoy the wonderful food.
I only have one complaint about Desi's . Indian food without Dal is like a Taco without Salsa. I personally think Dal should be on the buffet menu each and every day. I know when I drive that 25 miles and find there is no Dal, I feel disappointed. I recently celebrated my birthday there and there was NO DAL.
