In Nov. 2009 I gave them my old Mac to recycle and the receipt says ""Please erase drive completely."" Because the screen wasn't functioning, I couldn't do it myself.
Almost year later, Oct. 2010, I was contacted by a car mechanic who works downtown and he said he had bought my computer ""off a hungry-looking man for $60.00."" All my data and photos were still on the computer and the screen was now working!!! I have no idea how many hands the computer passed through or what happened.
When I contacted the store to ask for an explanation, I was told to email the owner. He never responded despite repeated calls on my part.
Terrible business people. I am thankful to the man who called me!
