We have a leak in kitchen, likely related to upstairs bath. Bishop cuts a hole in ceiling, removes insulation (in January), can't find a leak, says to watch caulk in upstairs bath. We ask if we need to replace insulation. Bishop says NO.
Surprise! Water pipe freezes and bursts. Brian, VP, states that it is NOT related to the insulation because the insulation removed was 8 inches or away from the actual location of the burst water pipe repair. He suggested that the new plumber I hired and the water restoration crew's comments that the lack of insulation caused the problem was simply "an opinion".
I ask to review the charges. He says "that's the price in the book". I ask to see the book. He refuses.
Lesson learned: investigate. Call the BBB before hiring any service provider!
