When I started my search for a Tuxedo, for my wedding this past May, I knew I didn?t want your standard off-the-rack rental. I knew I wanted a custom European fit tuxedo, but had no idea where I would find one in Atlanta. I tried going to your typical rental shops, but they offered a Sean John tuxedo as their most stylish tuxedo. Don?t get me wrong, I have nothing against P-Diddy, but a hip hop cut is not the same as an European cut.
Next, I tried Saks and Nieman Marcus, but they only sell a few tuxedos a year, and just don?t have that much to choose from. I literally thought I was going to have to fly to New York or LA to find exactly what I was looking for, until did a search on the internet and came across LeTux, now Rik Ducar.
Aftet getting an appointment I was immediately surprised with their level of customer service. Kristen Blackmon, their Director of Style, really laid out the red carpet treatment for me upon my arrival. Not only was she able to order exactly what I wanted, but she literally had the tuxedo shaped down for me so that it fit exactly like I wanted it to. She even had a custom shirt made for me from my measurements. Kristen even met me the day of my wedding to tie my bowtie because I couldn?t get it right.
People usually say the wedding is all about the Bride, but my experience at Rik Ducar made me feel as if a little more than a small portion was about me too! I highly recommend Rik Ducar if you looking to get that perfect tuxedo.
