As a visitor for over 50 years I can tell you that Yosemite and the Ahwahnee have aged gracefully. There is no wrong season to visit the park or the Ahwahnee. She has greeted my family for generations. I have yet to spend a night at the Awhahnee as I prefer the smell of the campfire and those quiet moments after ""lights out"" when the forest cradles you with the sounds of night. aThe Ahwahnee is always a favorite place to visit each trip where we take our rest after a warm day on the river, sipping on cool drinks on the patio or partaking of tastey treats in the bar as we watch the snow flakes fall. Don't miss the chance to visit at the Ahwahnee Hotel. She is a gracious hostess to all.
