I lost my father in 2010, I shopped many cemeteries in Roanoke and found Blue Ridge Memorial to be the best. I found out thru my research what an Internment process was and that all cemeteries don't do this process. it is to protect your family against wrong doings from the cemetery, I believe the person below must have not have known that they were protecting her from a possible wrong burial. They informed me and my family that all internment paperwork must be signed 24 hours in advance so they can open the grave, its intent was to protect the family against a wrong burial. I found Blue Ridge Memorial to be the most professional of all cemeteries in the area and I found them to be very helpfull and accomodating.
