Caution: Watch out for White BIT*CH at food handout counter.
I started going to shake shack regularly with my friends since I liked one of their concretes. When I went there this Sunday evening (5th sep) at 8:45pm on labor day weekend, they gave me a shake that I thought was not the one I had ordered.
When I told the girl at the counter that it was not what I ordered, she said ""Once the food leaves the counter, we have no responsibility for it. We can't take it back."" She was shouting and very rude. I'm not sure how I could have found out it was the wrong shake without tasting it.
I was shocked to say the least, even McDonald's has better service. There were other people waiting for their food who couldn't believe what they heard.
My turn to act: So, me and my friends spent the next 15 minutes telling everyone in the line what had just happened. About 5 people who had seen what had happened left in disgust.
To be fair, the girl did offer me a different shake later, but she did not apologize, and it was too late. I hope Shake Shack management takes notice.
