For 12 years I have been compelled to use this company to repair certain large kitchen designer appliances, even though they were expensive, because I knew of no other company that does it in New Orleans, but no more. A year ago Solar (after I spent lots of money with them post Katrina having my one of my appliances completely rebuilt) they came back to check out why the freezer wasn't working properly, they charged me a service charge and ordered an expensive part on my credit card. I learned that I was going to be gone for a year (post Katrina issues) and could not find a time when they could come to install it. I expressly remember advising a lady on the phone that I would only be in for a couple of days during New Years and otherwise might not be able to schedule until when I returned. I was assured I could have it fixed when I returned. I was never told the part would be thown away after 30 days. I talked with them more than once.
