Although initially very friendly and personable over the phone, when the actual moving took place, it couldn't have been a worse situation. I only asked for a handful of heavier items to be moved, however, with the three movers sent out, neither of them fit the necessary physical requirements that one would expect from a mover. This led to them going over the quoted time period which then began costing me additional dollars at an hourly rate. Their inability to move my furniture caused damaged not only to my furniture but the apartment I was moving into to. They also had a terrible attitude constantly complaining about injury from moving my furniture (maybe they should be in another profession if they can't handle it). The foreman then took it upon himself to charge me for the extra time and fabricated the length of time they actually moved my furniture. My quote was doubled and when I refused, he shouted at me inside my apartment in front of my kids and refused to leave until I ""paid him"" and said he would continue to stand there in my apartment until late at night and charge me for it until I signed his paperwork. It was after I repeatedly requested to speak to his superior that I was able to speak with the owner of the company who was pleasant enough and we came to an agreement on the price. How can a company expect to succeed when it employs people who can't fulfill the minimum expectations of the job at hand and treat customers with disrespect? Aviv needs to take a long look at their training and hiring because business will not last with how they are running it now. I will NEVER recommend this company, only warn those not to consider it. My furniture is damaged, I paid over the quoted amount and I was treated horribly. Disgraceful!
