We've been going to New Orleans for many years and just about every night we wind up at the Funky Pirate on Bourbon St. The staff, the music, and Al Carson and his band are so terrific and engaging you can't help but love it. When I've had a bad day at work, I put on my Big Al Carson CD, pour a glass of wine, close my eyes and melt back to New Orleans and the Funky Pirate.
