S&K is a small shop across from the San Leandro Post Office, easy to miss if you don't watch for it. Lu the owner is the very first mechanic to actually walk me around the car and point out all the problems for me to visually see myself. He listened carefully to what I had to say about the problems the car was having and noted everything. When he called I was given several options each with different pricing and also was told which repairs could wait. When I picked up my car a used Acura Integra he showed me all the parts that were removed from the car. I found this shop because I wanted to find one that was local to me and within a walkable distance. How glad was I to discover this little gem. The car is running well now and I have already told my friends about how honest Lu and his crew are. Prices are reasonable too. When he found a part for me that I requested be a refurbished part he actually got a better price than quoted and passed on the savings to me!!! He could have easily pocketed that and I would have been none the wiser.
I am not related to Lu nor do I know anyone at S&K. Ladies if you are looking for honest and efficient car repair do not hesitate to go here. I have already recommended this shop to three of my girlfriends and I am a happy girl to have found this shop.
