Discrimnation? 8/3/2010

Something caught my attention as I waited for 40 minutes to talk to someone. In a community that is 94% white, I did not see one white employee. As I would hope to see a representing number of blacks in a black neighborhood or Asians in an Asian neighborhood, I think it's fair to say that the Mt. Juliet store should have racial make up that closely matches that of the population. The employees were nice and this is not a personal agenda, but if someone is avoiding hiring based on race, it's despicable, regardless of the race. My thought is that with the racial makeup being what it is in Mt. Juliet, that there likely are some white applicants that never got a call back. Maybe I'm wrong, but 94% of the population is of a certain race, shouldn't the racial make up of the store be more representatove of its community. As for the service, don't go to this Verizon store unless you have an hour to ask a question. They take your name as you walk in the door, then you just wait. Cons: very slow service more
