We hired Express Movers to load a two bedroom condo into our Penske moving truck for a Seattle to Santa Barbara move. They sent two very nice young men to our home and they were ontime. One of the movers was very inexperienced and he needed constant direction from the other mover. \r

During the loading we noticed they were placing metals items on wood furniture. We told them that could cause damage during our 1100 mile drive and recommended they a) use the 60 blankets we got from Penske and b) not pack metal items on top of wood furniture. After we arrived in California we found damaged furniture due to poor truck packing techniques. After two months of communicating with Express Movers they explained they are not responsible for damage. \r

SO BUYER BEWARE: If you hire this company you need to watch every pack, stack and wrap they do for you. If they choose to put an outdoor metal chair on top of your wood dining table that is your fault, not theirs.\r
I recommend you oversee every move they make.
