My boyfriend and I went for his birthday recently... we had SUCH a great time. Got there early for a drink in the Turkey Lounge, where the service was quick even though it was busy. When we were seated for dinner, our server was knowledgeable, friendly, and went out of the way for us. He had Chef Royal come say hello, who then sent us out a FANTASTIC dish that he was ""working on"". NC shrimp, linguini, tomatos, basil, lemon oil and preserved lemon. I HOPE he adds it to the menu because it was to DIE for. \r

Dinner was chateau briand for two, carved tableside by the chef, which we couldn't even eat because we were already full! \r

Dinner was followed by a tour of the wine cellar and private dining rooms downstairs. If ever your server offers, don't pass it up!\r

All in all, the evening was fantastic--not cheap, but we definitely got what we paid for: two bottles of wine, appetizer, salads, entrees, fantastic meal and service for $200. We can't wait to go back!
