My boyfriend and I were exploring and looking for a place to eat. While we were looking at the menu, a friendly guy came out and convinced us to go in and try the place.
I'm very glad he did.
A beautiful little restaurant, great service, really good food. We split mussels for an appetizer. I had linguine with clams. We also had a bottle of wine.
The wine was very good. Better than I expected, because we got one of the inexpensive wines off the menu.
The mussels were very tasty, with the garlic obvious but not overpowering. The clam linguine in a white wine sauce was excellent.
The boyfriend had some tomato-and-meat pasta dish, and he was also very happy with his meal.
And the friendly guy who invited us in -- was the owner. He also came by the table to check how everything was, and was there to say goodbye as we left.
A beautiful dining experience all around, and I am looking forward to our next trip there.
