Wow! Just like some legalistic Christians to beat a brother up becuase he spoke about a bad experience he had in a place where people are supposed to be representing Christ and failed to do so! So does John have to appologize for being human now because he was tweaked? Or have you forgotten? 1Thess. 5:11, ""Therefore encourage one another and edify one another..."" If a church is having some heart issues, do you think it's better to make yourselves look more righteous by beating this brother up instead of coming along side of him? Or are you that blind to the fact that there are so many others, besides him who have experienced the same thing at that church, who are no longer there. Still hurting and looking for healing. Shame on you! Men fail! Turn them back to God, yes! But in love. Not with condemnation. Jesus didn't do that. Take your own advice. He said, ""For God did not send his Son into the world to CONDEMN the world, but to save the world through him."" Romans 8:1, ""There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus...""
John, I'm sorry you had that experience there, and I pray that God will direct you to a place where you can find and recieve both, healing and rest. Continue to pray that God will have mercy on that church and that they will turn from their ways.
