This WAS a great gym and I have been a member for more than a year. I arrived for a workout this week to find a HUGE, regulation boxing ring right in the middle of the main floor. This is not a big gym, mind you, so it's as if the Starship Enterprise landed. Machines and free weights have been removed or shoved into corners to accommodate this behemoth.
I understand that they are changing their business model and in today's economy, one must do what one needs to do to stay alive. However, the space is cramped and truly unworkable.
I decided to cancel my membership. Now, they insist on charging me and additional $85 bucks because I am required to give 30 days notice. Nice way to treat long-time loyal customers and I am shouting it from the roof tops!
