I financed my truck in 2007. I too went to a local dealer, but the only difference was that I NEVER HAD A LOAN/CREDIT CARD IN MY LIFE!!!! At the time, I had ok credit but not very good. When the salesman told me about them he made them sound as if by dealing with these guys my credit score would jump up and I could then refinance so that my monthly payment would not be so high! Anxious to get a car...I did it! A year later I had to have an emergency surgery which took me out of work for 8 weeks. I called to notified my ""rep"" and WOW were they not only rude but very unprofessional. They didnt want to work anything out...all they wanted was my truck! Then my ""rep"" called about 10 times a day from different numbers with the same ""Tell us where the car is so we could pick it up!"" As much as I wanted to return the car and NEVER hear from them again, I was afraid of lowering my credit score(which by the way went up 20months later).They wont refinance yet they""ve made my 36mo payment into 48 without advising me. I dont recommend them to friends family or strangers....
