This is the only informal Italian restaurant we have ever been to that turns their noses up at children. Just the fact that we arrived at their door with a six-year-old was enough to have them ask us to sit in the kitchen rather than the dining room (how hilarious to call this the chef's table!). Our granddaughter is well versed in retaurant manners and we find their reaction to be akin to any other type of prejudice. We had been to this restaurant before and found it quaint. Now we find it intolerable and will not return. By the way...the hostess should study appropriate hygiene. If anyone was offensive in that place at that time, it was the hostess rather than our granddaughter.
