I observed a driver for this company using a hand-held cell phone while driving the company vehicle. I called the company and asked if company policy allows drivers to use cell phones while operating company vehicles. The man who answered says that it is acceptable. I explained that it is proven that this practice is unsafe and constitutes distracted driving. The man became very defensive and rather unruly. If this is how this company treats someone who calls in a safety concern about an employee, I would never purchase anything from them.
