I had looked at several places in Austin when looking for my engagement ring. My fiancee fell in love with a particular line of bridal jewelery that would only work with a different jeweler so I was forced to go through them even though I had a much, much better experience with Duncan & Boyd. They were not pushy and offered a great deal of information and help without seeming dead set on making a sale.
The jeweler I went through declared bankruptcy one week before I was suppose to be shipped the ring. In a panic, I contacted Duncan & Boyd, and they physically picked up the diamond I bought at a different jeweler, contacted the company making my ring, and saw that everything would arrive on time. I would not be currently engaged if it were not for the fine people at Duncan & Boyd. They went beyond what was necessary and I didn't even originally go through them to purchase my ring. I would not even think twice if someone asked where to look for engagement rings.
