Empire Moving is unreliable, unprofessional, and impolite. I scheduled my move for 2 PM Friday, July 2nd on June 23rd. They confirmed the move, and sent email confirmation and I gave them the required $100 deposit.
I called on July 1st to confirm all is set, left a message with my phone and never got a call back.
On the day of the move, July 2nd, 30 minutes prior, I called again. The man who answered the phone told me they can no longer move and would call me back in an hour. I never heard from them again.
They left me hanging with no info and very little time to find another mover. I told them I didn't understand the problem and they did not elaborate. I told them I did not have the flexibility to schedule the move at a later time and they showed to concern or remorse.
Luckily, Mountain Movers moved me in short notice. I recommend them. Quick, efficient and courteous.
