We bought a new refrigerator from this company. After about 8 years the refrigerator stopped completed and just made a load humming noise. I called the store inquire about repair service and was told that there would be a minimum charge of $75 to come out and look at it. I described the symptoms completely and asked if they had any idea what was wrong withe refrigerator. They said no they would have to look at it. \r

A repair guy comes out and without pulling out a tool or anything says, ""the compressor is shot and would cost about $500 to repair, better off buying a new one"". I could have gotten this response from the guy over the phone and saved a service call. Since everything in my freezer was melting I asked if they had anything used available and he said he could go back and ask and someone would call me. Five days later someone calls me and asks whether we were interested in buying something. By this time we had gone to Sears Outlet and bought a new one.\r

We got the bill months later. When I called and asked if they would waiver the service charge since we were prior customers and had waited so long for a call back, the manager said he would think about it and let me know. Several months later, we get a bill from a collections company with interests.\r

These people lack intregrity in my opinion. They have lost a customer permanently.
