I had the opportunity to visit Ouisie's Table this weekend. I was not disappointed. Located in a residential area, this restaurant is often overlooked. Offering two areas for dinning; the patio and the interior, Ouisie blends Texan, Mexican, and Cajun flare seamlessly.
I was seated on the patio, which was located in a garden surrounded by vine arches and even though it was outside it was not too unbearable under the night sky.
I started dinner with the Cold Avocado Soup, which was chilled perfectly and had a bit of pepper to it. I continued to the Baked Rainbow trout on a bed of Spinach Mashed Potatoes. the fish was cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth. I accompanied my dishes with the house wine and was pleasantly surprised by their pairing.
I will have to visit this place again, hopefully for another special occasion.
Pros: Creative and Insightful Dishes
Cons: Parking, Expensive
