I chose a half turkey sandwich with a caesar salad and lobster bisque off the lunch menu this afternoon. The turkey sandwich and caesar salad were good but just okay. My problem was with the bisque. I've had lobster bisque all over New England and I've never had any as salty and garlicky as this.
I asked the bartender if it was canned since it was so salty. She said she'd go ask the cook. She came back about ten minutes later and told me it was homemade. I found that odd. I took another spoonful and that was the last one.
The bartender knew I was unhappy but didn't even offer to get me something else or take something off the bill. And to top it off they charge an extra 99 cents for the bisque which I don't recall seeing on the menu. I hadn't been to Bugaboo in over two years and am really in no hurry to go back again.
Pros: The Atmosphere and homemade bread
Cons: Service, low quality food
