If you want a great caring vet; choose Dr Strobel; an experienced vet that uses that knowledge to help clients -- often without a bunch of expensive and excessive testings. All of my neighbors recommend STROBEL and so do I. So much so that if he leaves this practice I will follow him. If he retires I WILL take my business elsewhere. The ""front desk staff"" has always treated me well and respectfully -- so I have no issues with them.
HOWEVER, If you are fabulously wealthy and/or snobbish and insist upon paying for test after test -- even for things that an EXPERIENCED vet should be able to tell you without raping your wallet -- then choose one of the other vets at this business because they ARE very very test happy (as if their pay is based upon how many tests they can churn out).
I have experienced what I personally consider the unacceptable standard operating practice of some of the other vets at this practice and the owner (Elliott) has not cared enough to address my concerns.
