I am a huge fan of Thai food and I've been to dozens of Thai restaurants in the city. Thai Tom used to be my favorite but I had to give it up. The panang curry and phad thai were super good and I really wouldn't go above two stars unless you're a masochist. However, every time after I ate there, I would get stomach aches and wouldn't feel good at all. Then I read on the Seattle website that posts sanitary reviews of all restaurants that Thai Tom has almost been shut down several times for violations including food kept out for days, not washing hands and multiple insect sightings. This definitely will not ease my stomach.
Pros: Great tasting, spicy, cheap, flavorful
Cons: Sanitary, stomach hurts
