Brought in riding mower for repair of starter gear. $6.00 part. Asked how long it would take to repair. 3-5 days. On the 5 day I called and asked if the mower was ready? Mechanic said yes we are just finishing give me an hour and then come and get the mower. (11am) I arrived at (4:45pm) said I'm here to PU my mower. Counter person said...who called you and said it was ready? Told them I called earlier but if it wasn't ready no problem I live close by and could come tomorrow..no hurry, I would rather have it done right. Guy went in back and yelled at a few guys then came back out and said it would be a few minutes. Paid my bill for $86.89 and loaded up the mower. Got the mwer home and noticed the hood was cocked and tried to lift it...wouldn't open, had to twist to one side to open. noticed all the bolts to the coweling and top of motor were screwed in half way finger tight. So I got my mower back half assed put together. Called Joe's and told person aswering the phine what happened..said he would have the owner call me.......so far no phone call. But I got to pay full price for half ass work!
