A group of us had reservations for Tulio a few weeks ago. We were looking forward to a nice dinner and had heard good things about the place. We are not overly picky- in fact we are pretty easy to please. Maybe the chefs were having an off night, but the food left a lot to be desired. My crab tortelli was very bland. My friends sampled it and agreed it just tasted like pasta- no flavor! 2 other friends had salmon ravioli and they could taste the salmon but there were no other discernible flavors. 2 other friends had shellfish and thought it was decent but nothing to write home about. When the food was delivered, we tasted it and found we desperately needed parmesan (sad!) which we had to ask for and wait some time for. The server never checked back to see how our food tasted or if we needed anything- it almost seemed he was avoiding us. Maybe, because we were forced to send back two sets of drinks that were not drinkable. A citrus something and a regular margarita that tasted purely like mix. Again, we were really looking forward to this meal and were sad to be so let down.
