In this day where grouchy and burned-out help behind the counter is the norm, it was refreshing to experience Adam's helpfulness. He knew what professional products to recommend to an amateur, which ones were too difficult for me to do on my own, and where to suggest I go for additional help. He helped me choose the right products for the job and not get in over my head.
