In the last few months before we move out, the unit is filled with heavy tobacco odor, from our next door neighbor. They smoke like a train. A black thick dust in our air filter and vents. Asked maintenance to do something about it. They denied saying that they cannot smell any smoke and it's impossible because the building ventilation is not connected to each other.
It's just don't make any sense to be a passive smoker, in your own home without nobody smokes in your home. Home don't feel like an exciting get back, because every time we enter that strong thick odor make us nauseated.
Winter time is the worst ever, cold weather, neighbors smoke indoors more frequent, smells getting more intense, and we can't open up our windows because of freezing temperature.
I just felt the management could make a better policy, for the non smoker tenants e.g separate buildings, so we don't have to be diagnosed with lung ""cancer"" anytime soon by breathing our neighbors smokes.
Pros: New Building, great overall unit quality, great appliances.
Cons: Poor Ventilation, Smoke odors seeps from neighboring unit
