I had the opportunity to venture into little India a few days back and I did not regret a single moment of it. I have grown up around the area, but never knew where to go or what to have when I went to an Indian restaurant. Thankfully, my friend took me there and explained to me what everything was.
I recommend going with the buffet; this choice will become oddly self evident when you walk into the establishment. It allows you to sample a wide variety of dishes and flavors even though you don't know what they are or how they taste.
Bombay sweets offers a learning experience about Indian cuisine far beyond anything that I have ever experienced before. Besides being extremely savory and bursting with flavor, the dinner wasn't the best part of my adventure here. That role would definitely have to be filled by the wall to wall selection of sweets, hence the name. Be careful they are overly sweet and so many of them. Ask for recommendations based on your tastes or take a friend to help you decide.
I will definitely return in the not so distant future!
