This is a welcome respite in an area filled with meathead sports bars... and pick-up joints for 30-somethings out to score for themselves. The front of the place is a typical meathead, big-chest place, but in back, it's a quiet restaurant with quite inventive food, and decent service. Foods you've heard of, but never in these combinations, turn out to be quite good. Thai curry mussels? Cheesesteak springrolls? Pretzel encrusted crab cakes? I know how it sounds, but really... it's good! Take a chance. \r

The beer list is just as weird: Southern Tier Hop Sun, Captain Lawrence IPA, Rogue Old Crustacean Brown Nectar. This place is an adventure! We visited the same day Mexico beat France in the World Cup semi-finals... so of course, the kitchen staff was in a good mood.
