Last week I visited a competing hair salon (which will go unnamed). The service was very friendly. However, the cut was executed haphazardly with no attention to symmetry. I went to midtown hair studio ready to cut off most my hair in order to fix it (i already had pretty short hair). The stylist (Victoria - seriously, ask for her..she's AWESOME!) instantly saw every error the previous stylist made and fixed in within 8 minutes while still leaving a perfect length. Also, they close at 6:30. I was working on a project at work and didn't get off until 6:15. I called them prior to driving over there to ask how late they'd be open. When the nice lady on the phone told me 6:30, I was ready to visit another day (not wanting to be THAT guy - the one who come a few minutes before locking up with blatant disregard for the stylists’ personal time). However, she refused to not let me come in! She said don't worry about the time; we'll save a seat for you just come in! I will never go to another hair salon so long as this place is open.
