I have been lucky enough to stay in some of the most beautiful hotels in the states. Although the W is lovely, everything in it, including the people, are surface. Only part that was 5 star was the swordfish at Drai's. We were there during the week, and the NIGHTS were noisy.Regardless of what room you were in, you could here people screaming through the halls.\r

Pool area set up like a nightclub, you feel like you have to be accepted in. Drinks at pool were $18 and they added on a 23% service fee. Might work for some, not for me!\r

All the bars are very happening. Girls are stunning, boys are dirty.\r

Bottom line, if you are over 30....W hotel in Hollywood, might not be for you.
Pros: lovely hotel
Cons: everyone is a rockstar wannabee
