I went to colorados last night with a buddy. I had to walk through a metal detector, take off my cap and have the manager inspect my attire. There was a dj at the desk when I went through and I pointed out that he was wearing shorts. He was quick to state that "he worked here" and so was exempt from the no shorts rule. The manager was also wearing shorts-I guess they can be comfortable is Houston's hot ass weather, but customers who pay their salaries have to suffer being uncomfortable. And whats the big deal-are they making some type of a connection between ball caps and "gansta like" behavior. I was wearing a university of houston ball cap, not a "houstone" or "tango blast" ball cap-use your common sense. And this is why I hardly ever even go in there-and if your going to have a dress code, it helps if you set the example and follow the rules yourself (manager and dj).
Pros: some fine chics
Cons: can't wear shorts or ballcap-mananger has to inspect
