A few days ago I went to this auto shop for new shoes on my rear brakes. Little did they know that only a few days before this visit, I frequently work on my car myself. After an hour of waiting for an estimate, I received a call from one of the workers. Apparently, my wheel bearing and cylinder were about to go out and my bill was now racked up to nearly $600. My wheel bearings and cylinder are just fine, and in perfect working condition (recently replaced, thanks!). I know I'm a girl, but I'm a smart girl who knows her car and how it works. I immediately told them that I'd be back to have it repaired tomorrow and left with my vehicle. I'm about to inspect it for possible sabotage, and hopefully I won't have to sue. Warning: They will SCAM you.
