My wife and I decided to eat at Smokey Bones in Waterford Lakes for our first wedding anniversary. We walked in what appears to be the front door, which ended up being the side door, and walked through their maze to reach the hostess. Five employees were standing there, and finished their conversation about one needing to eat at Denny's on an upcoming morning, and how she would be working a double. Once they ""noticed"" us, one disappeared to grab menus and proceeded to seat us. When we walked in, I noticed it was not busy at all, and their were tables available everywhere (at least fifteen). The hostess sat us at a table in the smaller seating area, away from the bar, next to two small families, both with a child under 1 year old. From there until after the appetizer arrived, things went well. We both finished our first drinks before the main course arrived (I guess its a server, the person you only see bringing your food, which I thought was the waitress' job). At this point I realize that the potato skins I discussed with the waitress not what I received, but a baked potato. It was very clear which I wanted, as there was never a mention of a baked potato. Then one of the babies began to cry, and cry, and cry...non stop, and the mother picked up the child, which placed the crying baby pointed right into our ears. I tried to fight through it, then I cut open my ""medium"" cooked steak. Other than the outside of the steak, the rest of the steak was red, bloody, and even a little purple. I wanted to send it back, but I could not stomach sitting in the restaurant another minute. This was by far the worst experience I have had in my life in any aspect of service, and immediately requested my check so I could leave. I can't remember ever before getting my entree and feel sick to my stomach at the same time. I will never eat at another Smokey Bones in my life, even if it was free.
Pros: Nothing at all
Cons: everthing from walking in, to walking out.
