After 2 months of conversations about the details of the wedding venue (including my emphasis on the importance of price) and waiting a month for the contract, it arrived with the line about the minimum tucked between the usual contract language. When I inquired about it, I was told that the coordinator did not tell me because it didn't come up. \r

Needless to say, I'll be holding my wedding elsewhere - and while the new venue I am considering has a minimum (of $10,000), at least they are transparent about their policies.\r
