Saturday, the day before Mother's Day, I returned home to find a large bouquet of flowers on the porch. The card read ""Happy Mother's Day"" from my children who live on the West coast. I was thrilled, but surprised to see 15% of the flowers were wilting and limp. Flowers were obviously well past their peak. I immediately emailed a photo thanking my children. My daughter was astonished the bouquet looked so bad, certainly a poor cousin of what she'd ordered.
I would not have accepted the delivery had I been home, being perfectly happy for my children's sentiment. I just feel bad they spent so much for a poor product!
