The phone number listed is a calling center, not the store. They transferred me to customer service. I've been on hold for 10 minutes. The customer care staff you speak to also serve in-person customers--so it can be a long wait.\r \r I had to refuse delivery of a dishwasher on March 5. When I received my statement HD had not yet credited my account. The reason is the delivery people do not report to HD that the customer refused the item so that HD can process a credit immediately. The customer has to call HD to report it and wait for HD to verify that the order was refused before issuing a credit. HD keeps your money until they do this. I would say poor follow through. And I'm still waiting fo rmy $700 refund. \r \r On a positive note, the customer care representative was quite apologetic and polite and very straight-forward with information.\r \r Home Depot has a reputation for treating its employees poorly.
