Well this is a delayed review but nonetheless I felt compelled to write it. I had gone here a couple years ago for cut and color and the power with the computer system had gone out. They wrote down my cc numbers and I signed something as the girl at the front desk said they were going to plug it in when the power came back on. Days later I checked my bank statement and as promised I had been charged. The next scheduled appt I had I was in the middle of discussing color when one of the managers came over to me and said that last time I was there I did not pay. It was embarrassing and she wasn't very pleasant. I told her about the computers going down and checking my bank statement and I was sure I had been charged but if i was mistaken I would gladly pay. Mind you, this is in the middle of my session to get beautified and I thought it was quite tacky and rude. I told the manager I could forward her my bank statement and she gave me her email. I ended up photocopying the statement and faxing it to her and she wrote me back, ""ok thanks"". No apology for making the mistake or for me having to take time out of my busy work day to show her what her records had lost. It was just ridiculous and I was disappointed that this was how they treat a customer ho shells out several hundred dollars a month to look gorg ... I figured I would take my business elsewhere and I did.
I understand that information gets lost and I really didnt have a problem getting her the proof that I had paid but it was the manner in which it was handled that left me thinking these people really dont know the first thing about customer service. This is NYC after-all and a great cut and color is an arms length away so I just wont go back there.
Pros: staff knows what hey are doing
Cons: little rude and the management ....
