The other night my suv was broken into and the system custom sounds installed a few weeks prior was stolen. Police caught the thief and found a copy of my receipt in his pocket, along with over 20 other receipts from other custom sounds customers. The receipts had names, phone numbers, addresses, and vehicle descriptions right at the top, along with a line by line description of what was bought and installed and how much it cost. The thief said he found them in the dumpster behind the store. Apparantly they just throw away copies of teceipts that they don't need. Very nice of custom sounds to make this info available to thiefs so they know exactly where to go to break into vehicles. Maybe they can start attaching maps to the receipts when they throw them away to make it easier for thiefs to find expensive equipment to steal. My insurance company tried to get me to go back to custom sounds to get the equipment replaced and I had to tell them otherwise. Makes me wonder if this isn't some sort of scheme custom sounds has going on. I agree with prior posts that the staff there looked like they were high. Probably ex-cons too.I will never trust custom sounds again with any of my business knowing that they don't protect their customers information.
Pros: ok work
Cons: sloppy record keeping
