I've eaten here twice, once upstairs in the lounge and once downstairs (where you MUST make a reservation). The atmosphere downstairs literally feels like your eating in a barn (hence the name) but its not a comforting feeling its an open, winding, unromantic feeling. The upstairs lounge has a better atmosphere for sure, I'd recommend it if you do come here. Both times the food was just ""OK,"" and definitely not worth the $100+ tab. My fiance likes his steak med-rare and it did come out that way, but it was on a skillet (a very hot one) which caused the steak to continue to cook and thus made his steak close to well done before he finished eating it! Anyone who loves steak knows this is a problem and I cannot understand how the ""beef eaters haven"" could think this is a good idea? The wine list is great but thats the best part about this place.
Pros: Lounge Atmosphere
Cons: downstairs atmosphere, price
