Contacted NCCRM to be an embryo donation recipient. Ms. Hopkins described the process and outlined everything and made it sound like it was really a straightforward process. She knew I was out of state and it was one of the first things I asked - Do you take out of state patients for FET of donor embryos...I was told yes. \r I filled out all the paperwork, and had several discussions about the process, next steps. We consulted on what meds to take on what cycle days, etc. As far as we were concerned, my husband and I believed that we were a few months maximum from a FET. I was scheduled and had an appointment and everything!!! \r \r THEN, I get a single sentence EMAIL from Ms. Hopkins stating that they were not accepting any out of state patients at this time?! We went from having an established plan, phone calls every couple of days to a single sentence email??? They didn't even have the decency to call me. And then the Dr. I was scheduled to see passed me on to another Dr. to talk to because he didn't have time?!\r \r They may be good medical pratitioners, but the staff over promises or as my husband says - out and out lies!\r \r So, please do not get your hopes up. Infertility is hard enough and this additional roller coaster at our expense at the hands of those that are supposed to help us was just incomprehensible.\r \r Pros: Sounds really good when you first talk to them Cons: Misrepresent themselves more
