So far, so good. 4/12/2010

I have been impressed with Dr. Andrews and his practice. He takes time to work slowly and efficiently while trying to ignore distractions. He has given me the highest level of detail regarding my teeth and their downfalls. He has also been more than willing to answer my questions thoroughly and ease any concerns I may have. Likewise, Dr. Andrews will also show any evidence of work needing to be done to ease the patient and ensure them that it's in their best interests. Dr. Andrews will first provide a comprehensive evaluation of your mouth on your first visit. Afterwards, the staff will take x-rays. Dr. Andrews will then review the x-rays and have a personal consultation with you to go over the results from the x-rays and answer any questions of concern. Around this time, the staff will also take high-resolution photographs of your mouth to show you an up-close look of your current teeth. If your teeth are banged up (like mine!), then he will start a plan for restorative treatment. While in this consultation, make sure to let Dr. Andrews know what you are looking to achieve. If you want to keep a healthy mouth, but ignore aesthetics, be up front about it. He understands that budgets are tight and achieving perfect teeth cannot be accomplished by all. With that said, please understand that his fees are not cheap. Depending upon the amount of work needed, you can max out your insurance rather quickly. Crowns will cost you about $1500 a tooth, with a prior build-up running you $500. If these costs are too much, but the work is vital to your health, Dr. Andrews does provide financing plans with various payment options to best suit your needs. After having some work done, although the costs are high, I feel that the quality of work done has been a proper trade-off. They are your teeth and they will be with you for as long as you live. Spending more money early on to save you from higher expenses down the road just makes sense. Just ensure that you do it within your budget and you stay within your means. Although your health is obviously the most important thing, being able to successfully manage the costs associated with treatment is just as important. Pros: High level of detail, personable, knowledgeable in sports Cons: Costs can be high for some more
