A Good Taste of New Orleans in DC 4/16/2010

I've been to Acadiana on several different occasions and have been impressed every time. The service is fairly good - not outwardly friendly or anything, but they're good about checking on you and giving suggestions. The food makes up for it however. They have a pre-fixe brunch that is SO much food but completely worth it at $29. You can get an appetizer, entree and dessert. They offer a good range of classic New Orleans dishes like jambalaya and etouffee. Their dinner menu is just as impressive, although much pricer at over $20 per entree. Their New Orleans style barbeque shrimp is excellent - spicy, succulent, and comes with bread to soak up the delicious broth that the shrimp is served in. Acadiana is definitely great for a date or a place to quietly celebrate an occasion, especially if you have some cash to spare. Pros: Very flavorful Creole/Cajun, mix of both classic and unique Cons: Not cheap more
