I broke the white tip off of one my nail, and I called up this shop because it was near my workplace, instead of going to my regular nail salon. The woman who ""fixed"" my nail did such a poor job, halfway through I started crying. I could already tell how awful my nail was going to look compared to my others. In the end, the gel/powder part is much too thick (doesn't match my other nails AT ALL), near the side of my nail it is has bit a dent looking thing (she didn't file it down properly to make the nail look smooth) and to top it all off, the white tip she put on is a bit crooked, and a bit too far down the nail, so the end of my nail looks all droopy (if that description even makes sense..sorry!)
Anyway, she did a terrible job, but at least she made me really appreciate the artists (and I really do mean artists!) at my regular nail salon. My other nails are beautiful and I get constant compliments on them. I'll be heading back to my regular salon to have them remove the nail the lady put on at Uptown Nails, believe you me.
Pros: Super fast and somewhat friendly
Cons: Poorly trained staff
